Service Description
Recommended for ages 8-12, this class will explore all things related to factors - what they are and when we use them - in a fun and engaging way! Prior to taking this class, students should have a basic understanding of multiplication (if they don't have their times tables memorized, it is okay to use a multiplication chart for this class). Mar. 21st - What are Factors? Mar. 23rd - Factor Trees (Finding Factors of Numbers) Mar. 28th - Prime vs. Composite Mar. 30th - Prime Factorization Apr. 4th - Greatest Common Factor Apr. 6th - Real Life Application of Factors Apr. 11th - The Difference Between Factors and Multiples Apr. 13th - Least Common Multiple Apr. 18th - Real Life Application of Multiples Apr. 20th - Review *This class has a minimum enrollment of 3 students. You will not be charged/will be refunded if the class is cancelled due to low enrollment- but we would love for you to tell your friends and help us fill the class.
