A class for ages 9-13, this will provide a complete introduction to the world of integers (positive and negative numbers) and their basic operations. Students should already have a firm grasp on adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing with positive whole numbers prior to enrolling in this class. May 2nd - What is an integer? When do we use them? May 4th - What is an integer's absolute value? How can I use a number line to compare integers? May 9th - How can I use "counters" to add integers? May 11th - How can I use a number line to add integers? May 16th - How can I use a rule to add integers? May 18th - How do I subtract integers? May 23rd - How do I multiply integers? May 25th - How do I divide integers? Bonus Lesson (pre-recorded) - Mixed Practice Review and NearPod Activity *This class has a minimum enrollment of 3 students. You will not be charged/will be refunded if the class is cancelled due to low enrollment- but we would love for you to tell your friends and help us fill the class.
