Service Description
Instructor: Amanda Stunes This course focuses on building a strong skill foundation for pre-algebra and high school level math courses. Students will gain practice and understanding of a wide-range of basic facts and mathematical skills involving integers, fractions, decimals and percentages. Students will be introduced to solving one-step and two-step equations and inequalities. Mrs. Math recommends this course for 11-14 year old students preparing to take pre-algebra. Enrollment age is flexible, however, younger students looking for advanced math curriculum should contact Mrs. Math prior to registering. This online course will include 34.5 weeks of live instruction, printable coursework for each unit, assessments, and a comprehensive solutions manual for students and parents. SEMESTER 1 CONTENT: Unit 1: Whole Numbers & Operations Unit 2: Factors and Exponents Unit 3: Fractions Unit 4: Decimals and Scientific Notation Unit 5: Integers and Absolute Value SEMESTER 2 CONTENT: Unit 6: Algebraic Expressions Unit 7: Equations & Inequalities Unit 8: Ratios, Rates, and Proportions Unit 9: Percent and Simple Probability Unit 10: Geometry & Measurement Unit 11: Data and Statistics
