Service Description

This course focuses on building a strong skill foundation for pre-algebra and high school level math courses. During first semester, students will gain practice and understanding of a wide-range of basic facts and mathematical skills involving whole numbers, factors/exponents, decimals, fractions, ratios/proportions, and unit conversions. Mrs. Math recommends this course for advanced 5th grade students, or 6th/7th graders preparing to take pre-algebra. SEMESTER 1 CONTENT: Unit 1: Whole Numbers Unit 2: Factors and Exponents Unit 3: Fractions Unit 4: Decimals and Scientific Notation Unit 5: Integers and Absolute Value Unit 6: Algebraic Expressions
