Service Description
Instructor: Teresa Marble This course is the equivalent of a 4th grade elementary level math course. This course is designed for students ready to build a strong foundation in upper elementary mathematics. It will support and enrich students’ understanding of whole number operations, place value, early fractions, and the basics of geometry and data. Real-world problem-solving and interactive lessons help students gain confidence and fluency with numbers. Mrs. Math recommends this course for students ages 9-10, or advanced younger learners preparing for more complex math topics. Enrollment age is flexible - contact Mrs. Math with placement questions. This online course includes 34.5 weeks of live instruction, printable coursework for each unit, assessments, and a full solutions manual for students and parents. SEMESTER 1 CONTENT: Unit 1: Whole Numbers and Place Value Unit 2: Whole Number Operations Unit 3: Understanding Decimals (Intro level) Unit 4: Factors and Multiples SEMESTER 2 CONTENT: Unit 5: Intro to Fractions Unit 6: Adding and Subtracting Fractions Unit 7: Geometry Foundations Unit 8: Introduction to Measurement Unit 9: Graphs and Data
